What is Timitar N Belgique?

Timitar N Belgique is a unique cultural event that celebrates and shares the rich traditions, captivating music, and authentic gastronomy of the Amazigh culture with a diverse audience in Belgium. With this first edition in Maaseik, we bring to life a warm, festive meeting place where cultures and generations come together.

From impressive live performances by renowned artists to traditional tea ceremonies, delicious food stalls, and extensive children's entertainment, our festival offers a complete, boundary-pushing experience for young and old. This event is primarily aimed at adults. In the future, we will organise a special family day focused on children. However, we have a very limited number of children's tickets (40 pieces) available, so be quick (while stocks last).

The doors open at 2:00 PM. Around 00:00 (midnight), the doors close and entry to the festival grounds is no longer possible, after which the party naturally continues inside.

Yes, around the venue at Sportlaan 36 in Maaseik there is sufficient (free) parking available. View the route on Google Maps We do recommend arriving early.
